A MONTH OF MILESTONES

As spring arrives and Kentucky begins to thaw, the GenCanna™ family prepares for the growing season and our largest hemp crop to date. We’ve been busy in March, with team members driving innovation in the hemp industry all over the world.  From Frankfort, Kentucky to Tel Aviv, Israel, we’ve been at the forefront of legislative progress for hemp-derived products.

This month featured major milestones for the hemp industry.  GenCanna™ President Steve Bevan joined U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles for a hemp roundtable, after which Leader McConnell announced groundbreaking support of removing hemp from the Controlled Substances Act.  Internally, GenCanna™ continued to enhance the validity and compliance of our offerings, announcing the official Kosher certification of all of our hemp-derived products by Kentucky Kosher International, under the guidance of Rabbis Avrohom and Chaim Litvin.

In this fast paced, ever evolving industry, we at GenCanna™ are proud of our role as market leaders and are committed to continuing to deliver economic impact and job creation in our home state of Kentucky through our best in class farming, science and compliance.
